Research shows, one out of four tech workers are worried that their skills will become outdated. This is an area for concern because transformation programs have opened up several digital roles that are in high demand for digital skills in areas such as RPA, Machine Learning, Data Science, Natural Language Processing, Advanced Analytics, IoT and Cybersecurity.

Investigations has shown that by 2024, positions that need digital skills will grow by 12%. Knowledge and task-based projects will increase from 28% to 65% and 9% of jobs are easily automatable.
These numbers continue to increase faster each year as the number of jobs requiring high levels of digital skills.

Continuing to upskill and develop your current skillset is a really important part of the tech industry. There are always new jobs opening up and many technologies to learn and develop that if you become complacent and stagnant in your career, it will make it very hard for you to work with new innovative companies or projects.
