An exciting opportunity has arisen for graduate Software / Data Engineers with an interest in Cloud experience to join their rapidly growing division. You will be working within both Software Engineering and Data Engineering; and will be involved with the end-to-end data journey.

  
Skills and Experience required.

• Strong Programming and Coding skills with SQL are essential.
• Experience working with Python, R, and Java is a bonus.
• Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Service) preferred.
• Experience with Azure (ML Studio, Data Lakes) is a bonus.
• Experience building ‘big data’ pipelines, architectures, and datasets.
• Working knowledge of ML, AI, and Cognitive data capture technologies is a bonus.
• An eagerness to work in a team environment under a Senior lead.

 
Desirable Experience. 

• Strong experience with DataOps (or from a DevOps team with experience in data).
• Experience in software engineering, ideally within a Data slant
• Experience with Tableau, Spark, Java, and Hadoop
• Experience with Machine Learning.
• Track record liaising with key stakeholders and non-data line managers.
• Familiarity with user analytic tools such as SAS, Tableau, etc.
• Familiarity with GCP (Big Query) will be looked upon favorably.
• Working knowledge with MongoDB is a bonus.
• Working knowledge of Docker.
• Confidence working with Agile practices.
